Making content at home can be super creative and super simple! I’m going to give you some tips and tricks on an easy way to make content for yourself or your company. One of the things you definitely need is some sort of camera. That can be on your phone, an actual camera, on your laptop or iPad. Some things that are optional or additional lighting and or a tripod. For additional lighting, you can use lamps around your house or you can order a ring light that attaches to your tripod on Amazon.com. I would suggest the ring light because the ring light comes in three different settings. These settings are different light temperatures that can give you a different feel and edit for your photo. Now you’re probably wondering, wherein my house can I take these photos. Well, listen closely.
If you were just beginning to make content at home, a great place to start taking photos would be on a blank wall. Think about it, maybe your house has different rooms with different colored walls. Even the hardwood floors in your house can add a nice textured background to your photo. You may be inside but it is great to think outside the box! Also, a wonderful texture that is very popular is shiplap. If you have that around your house that creates such a creative background for any product or even yourself. Once you have found the perfect background, go ahead and set up your camera and your lighting to posing the product or yourself in the way that you would like, and snap that photo!
Now we may not all be photographers, I’m definitely not, but I do have certain apps and ways that will help you edit the photo to look more professional. One of the apps that I like to use is VSCO. They have a crazy amount of filters that you can use. Of course the abundant amount of filters you do have to buy but I believe it is totally worth it. I bought it and I don’t stick to just one filter, because different photos look better in different filters. If you do not want to use that app, you can edit your photos right from your phone in the photo app. You can adjust the temperature, the exposure, you can crop, you can add texture and so much more.
Once you’ve completed these three steps, you have your photo! I hope this helps and I cannot wait to see all your at-home content from our feed.
